TOPOGRAPHIC SURVEYS

Topographic surveys, also known as a land surveys, are used for mapping the boundaries, features, and levels of a site. They are often the first step in the site design process required by architects, civil engineers, and planners. They have many uses; for planning applications, boundary and land registry plans, highway designs, residential layouts, landscaping, as-built surveys, landfill and flood risk assessment amongst many others and they are often used as a base for underground utility surveys and combined with measured building surveys for a complete project.

Our topographic surveys provided accurate position and height information of all natural and man-made features across any size site from a small garden to a major housing development or infrastructure project. We capture the data using the latest technology best suited to your project whether it be total station (a modern theodolite), GNSS (GPS), 3D laser scanning or drone / UAV on sites across the UK. By default our surveys are related to Ordnance Survey grid and level by GNSS but can be related to any preferred datum.
