Richard Allen – Managing Director
Richard joined EDI as a surveyor in 1991 after graduating from Newcastle University with a BSc in Surveying Science and a few years working in seismic surveys overseas and at CERN in Geneva. He became Managing Director in 2017. As MD he oversees the company’s business operations, financial performance, investments and ventures, as well as ensuring company policies are clearly communicated.
Luke Warvill – Director
Luke joined EDI in 1999 after training in Business and Finance. His progression through the company started with an Assistant Surveyor role, Luke then worked his way up through the company before being appointed Director in 2018. Luke manages and advances the technical objectives of the business. He works on building client relationships across the industry and generating new leads. He works closely with the other Directors on the company profit acceleration and growth.
Tina Connor – Director
Tina joined EDI in 1994 after completing a Post-graduate Diploma in Surveying at Glasgow University and a BSc in Geography and Management Studies in Leeds. Tina has a wealth of experience in topographic, coastal and building surveys. She is also involved in project management and overseeing the smooth running of day-to-day business. She plays a key role in helping to develop new business strategies and the implementation of our extensive quality assurance systems.
Adam Rose – Survey Manager
Adam joined EDI in 1994 straight from school and through hard work & training has progressed through the ranks. He was promoted to Survey Manager in 2014 with specific responsibility for coastal work, he also oversees the maintenance and calibration of our equipment and assisting with day to day site management of our survey teams
Tony Andrews – Survey Manager
Tony joined EDI in 2008 from Suffolk County Council, whilst studying part time for his BSc in Surveying and Mapping Sciences at the University of East London he continued to build his surveying knowledge. Tony has worked his way up and became a Survey Manager in 2021. His main areas of expertise are measured building surveys, laser scanning, point cloud manipulation and Revit modelling.
Cathryn Hope – Directors Assistant
Cathryn helps the Directors and deals with HR, H&S and ISO9001 & 14001.
Patricia Finura – Office Administrator
Patricia will most likely be your first port of call when you contact EDI. She will help you with your queries and direct you to the best person to assist you.
Natalia Ward – Accounts Manager
Natalia will help you with all your invoicing and payment queries.
