We believe that accurate equipment and use of the latest technologies are essential to our ability to provide the reliable survey information our customers need. Our survey equipment is regularly calibrated and serviced to ensure maximum accuracy and optimum performance and we have invested over £100,000 in new equipment over the last 2 years.
All the items below are kept in stock for use by our surveyors with more equipment available to us for hire at short notice from our suppliers SCCS.

Leica System 1200 instruments are extremely efficient and reliable, and stand up to the severest environments. We use TPS1200 total stations for surveying, engineering, stakeout, monitoring etc.

Radio Detection RD4000
This is a highly sensitive digital “CAT” type detector capable of picking up concentrations of electromagnetic waves in any linear metallic object, i.e. pipes and cables and thus enabling us to establish position and sometimes depth.

Mala Easy Locator (Ground Penetrating Radar)
GPR sends electromagnetic waves in to the ground and the receiver collects the reflected energy. All materials have different resistance properties and a “pattern” of reflected energy is generated

All our surveyors have a dedicated Windows PC workstation with standard Microsoft Office software and Windows laptops available for site work. They run licensed copies of;
AutoCAD
Always current version as we have a maintenance agreement with AutoDesk.
Download free viewer that allows to view, print and publish autocad dwg files. Also allows to convert between versions 14 through 2008.
Key Terra Firma 3D modelling
KeyTERRA-FIRMA works exclusively within the AutoCAD platform. This “add on” allows the creation in AutoCAD of fast and easy ground models, contours, areas, volumes and cross sections
